Gratuitous Space Battles Pre-Orders Underway

Indie developer Positech Games has released the beta version for their upcoming strategy game, Gratuitous Space Battles onto Impulse today. Those customers who pre-order the game will be charged immediately, but will gain instant access to the current beta build via the Impulse client.

Gratuitous Space Battles is a unique strategy game where you play the role of supreme commander of a vast fleets of spaceships, battling against AI controlled or player-designed enemy fleets. Unlike a conventional strategy game, players must position their fleets and issue orders ahead of the battle, then sit back to watch the action unfold.
