Impulse gives you the ability to manage existing tabs on the main menu (i.e. Explore,
Community, My Software, My Games), by changing the location, hiding/showing tab(s),
creating new ones, and deleting unwanted tabs. Locate the
at the end of the main menu & click on it to display a menu: "Add tab...",
and "Manage tabs...".

Selecting "Add tab..." opens a dialog box asking for the "New name"
of the tab, after typing one in (e.g. My Favorites), click

to abort.) The new tab will appear on the end of the main menu (far right). You
can also add a new tab on the "Manage tabs..." menu.

To add programs to your new tab, click on the tab, then locate the desired icon on the desktop, in Windows Explorer, etc. and drag it onto the open tab in Impulse and a shortcut will appear. You can drag shortcuts for any program, not just those you downloaded through Impulse.

After a program is on your new tab, right clicking on it will open a small menu with the following options:

The other menu option is to "Manage tabs..." which allows you to change
the location, hide/show tab(s), creating new ones, and delete unwanted tabs. In
the screen below a new tab was added (My Favorites) and was moved to the highest
position possible under "Community" (to the right of "Community"
on the menu bar) by selecting "My Favorites", then clicking the
arrow. Clicking
will apply the changes to the menu, while clicking
will cancel any changes.

Summary of buttons on the Manage Tabs menu:
- add a new tab to main menu by typing in a title.
- allows you to rename the selected tab.
- delete the selected tab.
- hides selected tab from being seen on menu.
- un-hides the previously (Hidden) tab.
- moves the selected tab up one (to the left of the previous tab on the menu).
- moves the tab down one position (to the right on the main menu).
- click when ready to apply changes. (Click
to abort.)
